Frequently Asked Questions

Will prints match what I see on my screen?

Every effort is made to adjust the images shown here for accuracy. Since the calibration of every monitor or screen is beyond my control, you may see some slight variation.

Depending on the size of your print, you may see some variation in cropping.

Lighting conditions can cause color shift. I accept returns for any reason, though if the color is correct in natural light you would need to cover the return shipping cost in this scenario. (Alternatively, you could switch to "daylight" or "cool white" light bulbs.)

Custom and personalized orders

Custom sizes are available, please contact me for pricing.
You may request the following at checkout for no additional charge:

  • Include artist signature (lower right corner, digitally applied)
  • Include, remove, or adjust a border on your print (paper size stays the same)

Please be aware that any customized orders are NOT eligible for refund.

How does size work for frames?

Generally frames are sized according to the print that fits inside. The frame adds to the overall width and height as follows:

FINE ART PAPER:
Frame adds approximately 1" to width and height when accounting for overlap.

CANVAS:
Frame adds approximately 1.5" to width and height when accounting for frame width + space between frame and canvas edge.

When will my order ship?

Most prints are ready to ship in 3 business days. Framing may take up to 5 business days.

During high-demand seasons (i.e. the Christmas holiday) production may be delayed beyond the expected 4 to 5 business days.  If this occurs, I will update you with the adjusted production schedule.

Transit time is estimated at checkout; typically 2 - 5 business days within the US, 2 - 8 business days internationally.

How are prints packaged?

Fine art paper prints are placed in a plastic bag before shipping. After being bagged, art prints up to 12" x 16” are mailed inside stay-flat envelopes within the US. Larger prints and international orders over 8" x 10" are rolled and shipped inside tubes to prevent shipping damage.

Framed and canvas prints are bagged in a protective plastic layer, and then sealed in a corrugated box before shipping.

*Plastic-free packaging is used in countries where it is required*

What if my order arrives damaged?

I am of course happy to replace or refund any prints that are damaged. I do ask that you contact me within 14 days of delivery and that you provide photos that show any damage to the item AND photos of the packaging, even if the packaging is fine. These photos are required for filing an insurance claim.

Do you accept returns?

Yes, I accept returns for any reason. Because of this generous return policy, I must ask that you cover return shipping costs.

Please contact me to initiate a return within 14 days of delivery, and return any items within 30 days. Please use original packaging whenever possible, and be sure to use the return address I provide. (Do not return to the print shop, since they do not accept returns.) I can provide a return shipping label, however I must deduct the cost of return shipping from the refund amount.

Failure to return to the correct address in new condition fit for resale voids eligibility for refund.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, though orders are sent to production very quickly to reduce turnaround time.  I can't guarantee cancellation past one hour after ordering.

Do I need to pay customs fees?

I collaborate with professional print shops located in the UK, EU (Spain/Netherlands), Australia, and Canada. Orders should be routed to ship from the facility within your own country or region, however production capability and stock availability may require shipping from a different area.

Known exception: framed fine art paper prints ship to Canada from the US.  Natural framed canvas ships to Canada from the US, UK, or EU.  Please be prepared to pay any applicable customs fees.

If customs fees are a concern for you, please contact me before placing an order and I would be happy to confirm fulfillment location.
